Student artwork from Chatsworth School to accompany
Baltimore Symphony performances: Student artwork from
Chatsworth School in Reisterstown and the Interactive Media Program
at Eastern Technical High School in Essex has been chosen to
accompany the Frans Lanting concert series performed by the
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra through Sunday, Jan. 29. Titled Life:
A Journey through Time, the concerts will feature the music of
Philip Glass and the images created by Lanting, a famed National
Geographic nature photographer. The student art exhibit
complementing the symphony performances will be opened by a
reception, hosted by the BSO, on Jan. 26, from 3:30 pm to 6:30
pm, where each student artist will receive a certificate and an
opportunity to meet Lanting. All activities will take place at the
Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral Street, in
Baltimore. http://www.bsomusic.org.
